There are no exceptions to this. \nYou don’t have to be a Member of NRL22 organization or NBRG to shoot the monthly matches\, but you do have to be a member of NRL22 if you want to be tracked by NRL22 and try to qualify for the NRL22 Nationals each year. \nThe monthly NRL22 Course of fire will be 5 stages and the potential for an additional stage or two. 80+ rounds of 22LR engaging steel targets from 25 to 100 yards. There is a good mix between prone\, barricade and positional stages. Vortex returns as the title sponsor for the third year in a row. \nLocation:\n2613 Highway 270\nChapel Hill\, TN 37034 \n*All times are in CST*\nSaturday December 6th\nMatch Check-in: 11am-12pm\nSafety Brief: 1pm\nMatch Begins: 1:30pm\nMatch ENDS: 10:15pm \nPlease be aware\, this match is a NRL22X match and will be a NIGHT MATCH. The match will contain a portion of daytime stages and nighttime stages. To ensure fairness across the daytime/nighttime stages\, all competitors will shoot the same day stages in the daylight and all competitors will shoot the same night stages in the dark. \nEvery shooter will receive a fun and challenging match with dedicated Range Officers on every stage\, 2 glow bracelets at check-in\, a commemorative night match ornament\, night match commemorative gear or apparel\, a match meal\, snacks\, hot cocoa\, and a prize table walk. \nNight vision is allowed but not required. Night Match Format Targets will be illuminated with white lights. Shooters are not allowed to use white lights at any time throughout the match in order to preserve everyone’s night sight; however\, shooters are allowed to use glow sticks or red or green LED lights. Since everything but the targets will be dark\, an illuminated reticle is highly recommended. The props at the firing line will be minimally illuminated with either Christmas lights\, glow sticks\, or red lights. A headlamp may be helpful but remember it cannot be white light and it must be red or green illumination. \nZero Range\nThere will be paper at 50\, 75\, and 100 yards. Steel will be available at 100\, 200\, and 300 yards. \nRange Officers\nDedicated RO’s are a key component of high quality matches. They increase fairness across all of the squads and remove the burden of a competitor having to be the squad RO. Competitors who participate in a match with dedicated RO’s have an entirely different match experience. Competitors love that their only responsibility is shooting\, socializing with their friends\, and having a good time. This match will have dedicated RO’s running every stage to ensure that all competitors can concentrate on having fun and ensure all squads are run through each stage in the same manner as the other squads.\nRO’s will have the opportunity to shoot this match as a NRL22X RO Match the day prior and will have the opportunity to earn points towards their NRL22X points race. \nTrophies and Prize Table\nThere will be LOTS of trophies and recognition following the match. We will give all the consideration when coming up with the bonus stages\, but we are know to be a little wacky here sometimes.\nWe have moving targets\, elevated shipping containers\, and a very wild imagination!\nWe are a 400+ yard range and have 9 covered shooting bays with concrete floors.\nWe only cancel an event if there is unsafe severe weather. In the five years as a MD we have only postponed or cancelled 2 matches. But keep in mind its still New England and the weather here is a bit finicky. Look for the LCPR signs and the NRL22 banner.\nSafety Brief/Match start: 9 am (November-March) 8 am (April-October). Sight in 30 minutes before. \n$15 (Not a Picacho Gun Club or NRL22 Member)\n$10 (PGC/NRL22 Member)\n$5 Young Gun (parent or guardian must remain) \n22LR/Airgun (no tubular magazine rifles). Monthly NRL22 course of fire\,5 stages\, plus 1 club stage. Distances range from 25 to 100 yards\, with the club stage occasionally extending to 300 yards. Target sizes are dependent upon distance and range from 1/4″-12″ with a balanced mix of prone\, barricade\, and positional shooting. The number of rounds for monthly matches is approximately 65. Bring extra for sight in and malfunctions. You do not have to be a member of NRL22 to shoot a match. Chamber flag required (loaners or available for sale\, $2\, at the match). \nNew shooters and spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend\, as the goal of the NRL22 is to make precision rifle shooting more available to every community. Bring what you have or try out a match with a loaner rifle first to see how you’d like to set up your rifle.
