NRL22 matches are currently expected to be on the 2nd Saturday of the month, but that may change depending on the number of events Pikes Peak Gun Club hosts.
Established in 1929, Pikes Peak Gun Club is one of the largest chapters in the Izaak Walton League (Chapter 34); we have a long and rich history of promoting conservation as well as supporting our community by providing everyone with a safe, clean and modern facility that is handicap accessible, allowing everyone the opportunity to practice shooting sports of all types. We are open to members and the public for shotgun shooting sports; members enjoy the additional benefit of access to rifle, pistol and archery ranges for practice.
For fans of shotgun sports, we have 147 acres of land that supports 14 trap fields, 4 skeet fields (plus an additional conversion skeet field), a massive sporting and super sporting clays walk through course, a 5 stand field and an international bunker trap field. Rifle, pistol and archery fans have access to 5 rifle and pistol ranges, 8 special use rifle and pistol ranges, and a modern archery range.
Pikes Peak Gun Club also hosts and supports a large number of community oriented shooting events to include 4H, Boy Scouts, Appleseed, High School shooting teams, Corporate events, instructor led courses in all shooting disciplines, national and regional shotgun events as well as national and regional rifle and pistol competitions. To accommodate these large events, we have 85 RV spots for camping on site as well as a fully furnished kitchen area and meeting room.
Member who choose to use the rifle, pistol or archery ranges also have the ability to brings guests to the range, even when we don’t have a range safety officer available. For safety reasons, our rifle and pistol ranges are accessible to non-members when Range Safety Officers are on duty. Please Call 719-683-4420 for questions about our RSO availability and schedule prior to coming out.
