The Barrie Gun Club is one of the premiere Multi-Discipline Gun Clubs in Canada. Established at the present location, just west of Barrie, in Springwater Township in 1946, our club is host to a wide variety of shooting disciplines over the span of our beautiful 56 acre property.

On our shotgun fields, we offer American Trap, Wobble Trap, Skeet and 5-stand. The establishment of our state-of-the-art 5-Stand course was made possible through a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Our 5-Stand range is now fully covered and operational year-round!

Indoors, our air conditioned HEPA filtered 10 position, 24/7 range provides an excellent opportunity to shoot handgun, and pistol calibre long guns.

We offer 8 Outdoor ranges which span from 5- 150 Metres in distance, with some ranges being over 20 positions wide! Having so many versatile outdoor ranges allows us to hold large IPSC, IDPA, Multi-Gun and Cowboy Action competitions as well as regular house league competitions catering to both those who enjoy participating in formal disciplines – while also always leaving ranges available for those who would simply like to enjoy the sport on their own terms.

Many of our members compete in sanctioned shooting competitions locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. The skill and mental discipline exhibited by our members is recognized throughout the world. Our focus on safety training, personal discipline and sportsmanship ensures that our safety record is one to be envied by any sporting facility.
