Founded in 1982, our main focus is providing the communities of Delta Junction and Fort Greely services and events related to shooting sports and education. We host several special events throughout the year that are open to members and non-members alike: Bench Matches, Women on Target, Gun Shows, Concealed Carry classes, Relay For Life Team “On Target For The Cure”, Beginning Safety & Bench for 8 years and older, Continuing Safety, Introduction to Position Shooting, High School Rifle Team (practice and competition), Training for Junior Olympics, Training for Nationals, and Air Rifle Sectionals. Every Friday night, the club hosts a potluck dinner and the bar is then opened for members to enjoy a night away from home. While the bar is a feature that many members enjoy, the real benefit lies in the fact that the proceeds are used to help support many of activities that the club provides to the community. We have had success throughout the years with several of our junior shooters achieving outstanding accomplishments (State & national records, National Junior Olympic participants, several state high school championships, etc).
