Welcome to the Walter Cline Range and Frosty Fate NRL22X. We have a wonderful facility tucked away in the valley in Friendship, Indiana. Our long range has almost a thousand feet of covered firing line on a range that reaches out to 500 yards. We have on-site heated restroom facilities as well as a food vendor. There is plenty of space for parking close to the firing line and this is an operating campground. There are several sites available that can accommodate your electrical needs. There are also several hotels and air bnb's within 30-40 min of the facility. The facility is spacious enough to accommodate carts and they are encouraged. We enforce a smoke-free firing line to prevent secondhand inhalation and allow the shooters to concentrate on their game.

The match will consist of 10-11 stages and approximately 100-120 rounds. Shooters can expect all engagements to be either prone or positional situations. All targets will be sized accordingly for the forecasted wind at the time of setup. There will be multiple movements involved with most stages, so be prepared for this. We want this to be new shooter friendly but also challenge our seasoned shooters with mental stressors for each stage.

A lunch ticket will be issued to each shooter at registration, and it's your responsibility to keep track of it. This ticket voucher will be good for a sandwich/entree and drink of choice at the food vendor. Chips, snacks and water will be available on the line.

Included with your registration fee will be a match hooded sweatshirt, match beanie and a set of hand warmers. Hoodies will be available from S-5XL. The cutoff to be guaranteed a hoodie will be February 16th. I will do my best to accommodate late entries since I make the match hoodies myself, but please try your best to get registered and paid well in advance. The match hoodies will be personalized with your name.

There will be early check-in on Friday beginning at 3pm. We will be holding a 3 stage 30-35 round tune-up at 7pm under the lights on Friday. One of the stages will be a timed stage and the winner will receive the drag race trophy. A winner take all trophy for this will be presented after the X match on Saturday. The cost of the tune-up will be $20 per shooter. This will not be for NRL22 or NRL22X match points. This is merely a tune-up.

The Registration fee will be $65 for the match. This fee will include the food voucher, match hoodie, beanie and hand warmers. Mulligans will be available for an additional $10. You may also purchase extra match hoodies for $22 and beanies for $10. Please make sure you calculate the total for what you are purchasing and include it at the time you pay. Mulligans will be available the day of the match also for those undecideds at the time of registration. Hoodies are all made to order, so they will not be available the day of the match.

Young gun price will be $55 and include all of the above except the tune-up stages.

I am seeking sponsorship for a prize table for this event. There are already a couple on board, and we hope to get several before match time. Prize table will be walked in order of finish and not by division.

Trophies will be awarded for all divisions and categories that have at least 3 shooters as well as the drag race.

This match fee is non-refundable for any reason. You may sell your spot if something comes up, but you must contact me with the information on who it's being transferred to.

Welcome to the Walter Cline Range Creekside Shootout presented by Vortex Optics. Walter Cline Range is a beautiful facility nestled in Southeast Indiana and is the home of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association. This 540-acre facility houses an operating campground along with the many individual shooting ranges. We offer a state-of-the-art bathhouse facility right next to the rifle range that is conditioned year-round. We also have an on-site food vendor for all your needs throughout the competition.

The Creekside Shootout will consist of 10-11 stages designed to challenge each shooter's ability to build solid positions and navigate each prop safely. The stages will be new shooter friendly but also challenge the most seasoned competitors. Shooters can expect to engage targets from prone, modified prone and positional situations from 50-300+ yards with a round count of 110-130. There will be stages with a high round count and some that will require mandatory mag changes, so please plan your gear needs accordingly. Our main rifle range spans over 800' and is cart/spectator friendly. We will be shooting from an uncovered position unless we have bad weather. In the event of bad weather, we will move all stages under the covered firing line. Our plan at this point is to have dedicated stage RO's with shooters being responsible for spotting and calling impacts.

We will have an early check-in on Friday. The sight-in range will be open also. We will be holding a Long Gong match on Friday starting at 3pm that will be listed separately on Practiscore for those who wish to participate. There will be a head-to-head drag race competition beginning at 7pm at a cost of $10. A trophy for with winner will be presented on Saturday after the main competition.

Match Fee: $65 for adults and $55 for young guns with advanced payment.
Mulligans will be available for an additional $10.
We do not accept payment through Practiscore at this time, but you will be given options on how to pay in advance with your registration email. Shooters will not be authorized to squad until payment is received. If payment is not received in advance, you will be placed in a squad at our convenience and there will be a $10 additional fee for match day payment. This match fee is non-refundable, but you may sell your spot to another competitor. If selling your spot to another competitor, please email the match director at the email address listed below for more information.

Match T-shirts will be available for an additional $15 per and the sizes are adult small through 3XL.

We will be providing lunch for all registered shooters on Saturday from our on-site vendor. She will be offering a variety of things for you to choose from.

We will have a prize table for this event and shooters will walk in the order they finish overall regardless of division.

Trophies will be given to 1st Overall, top 3 open, top base, top old gun, top young gun, top lady, top semi-auto, top air rifle, FAF tie breaker, mid-pack mafia and Friday night's drag race champ.
