RIMFIRE ROOSTER RUSH – SEPTEMBER 16, 2023

Match Details: Welcome to the 2023 Rimfire Rooster Rush held on Sept 16th near Virgil SD. This match as you now will be shot on the open prairie of South Dakota. The match will have 12 stages with round counts between 120-175. The distances for these stages will range from 25-250yards. Competitors can expect 70% of the stages to from barricades. Water and an assortment of snacks will be provided.

T-shirts will be provided to every competitor who is registered by 08/25/2023. We will order extra shirts but at a first come first serve. 

We will have dedicated range officers for this match. If you would like to RO, please contact the Match Director directly. If we have 15 or more range officers, then the scores for that range officer match will count as a separate NRL22X match. 

Stage: 12

Distances:  25 – 250 yds

Round Count: 120 – 175 (does not include zeroing)

Tune-up: On Friday starting at 5pm competitors can check in and verify zero. Competitors can shoot any variety of targets to confirm data and use misc barricades. If competitors want that option they will purchase a wristband for $10. Competitors will receive matchbook after wristband is turned in and will not be allow back on the range.

Trophies & Prize Table: Trophies will be presented to the TOP 3 in all divisions (Must have 3 in division) Less than 3 in the division then only the TOP in that division will receive a Trophy.  Prize table will be walked in order of match placement.

Awards Ceremony Location: Upon completion of the match competitors will travel to Wessington Springs (Prairie Lounge) which is located at 508 Dakota Ave S Wessington Springs, SD 57382. Drink and Food will be available for purchase at your own expense.

RV/Camping: There will on-site primitive camping available (generators welcome). Water for campers will be provided. If you are interested in this, and would like to reserve an RV spot, please email your Match Director.
