The Ohio Valley Rimfire Association is thrilled to be hosting its first NRL22 X match The Squatch X-ing. The Squatch Clans are on the move, migrating to find new food sources. It is our job to stop them before they find a taste for the human kind.

We have planned a fun and challenging course of fire. It will challenge shooters’ abilities and use a full range of  skill sets. Special attention was given to shooting props in different ways. Expect to shoot unique custom made  targets, shapes and  target set ups done by the made possible by the great people at Atlas Target Works. Most of all expect  Squatches. A lot of them!

Match Book

T-Shirt (Must be registered by September 1, 2024 to guarantee shirt the day of event)

Lunch, soft drinks, water 

Stages: The match will consist of 9 stages. Half will be shorter ranges up to 100 yards the other half will  be 100- 200 yards and longest distance for the match will be 245. 

Distances: up to 245 yards

Round Count: Round count is 97 not including zeroing. Most stages are 10 rounds with several being 12 and 15.

Trophy Recognition: Trophies for top three in Open, Top Young Gun, Top Lady, Top Base, Top Old Gun. If any Air Rifles register I will happily get  a Top Air Rifle.

Prize Table: Open 1-3, Base 1-3, Top Young Gun, Top Lady, Top Old Gun, Random Draw

Lunch: Water and lunch will be provided. 

Match sponsors are being added by the day to make for a great prize table. Winners will choose from the prize table in the above listed order then drawn randomly until all prizes have been exhausted .

We are planning a gear swap meet and zeroing session on Friday evening with burgers, hot dogs and chips available for purchase. So plan to bring that excess gear you have accumulated join in. 

The Beaver Local Youth Trap team will be on site helping for the day and will be holding a 50/50 and bake sale.
