Welcome to the Rice County Wheat Harvester’s Rimfire Challenge. Rice County Sportsman’s Club will host one day NRL22X match on July 9th, 2022. We will host 12 stages with a minimum of 130 rounds needed. Distances will range from 35 yards to 370 yards. Some stages will require two 10-round (or more) magazines.

Competitors can expect fun and challenging stages with unique targets not typically found at other matches. This match will test your shooting skills, wind management, and long-distance situations.

Shooter check-in opens at 7 AM, zero targets will be available.

Match fees are $100. This will be a cash pay match, 60% of the match fees will be paid back in prizes. The number of places paid is dependent on the number of paid shooters (60 shooters max). If we register 60 shooters we will pay out to 7 places. Two random draws will be available for non-placing shooters.

Saturday, July 9th

  • On-Site Register/Check-in – 7 AM – 8:30 AM

  • Mandatory Range Orientation Brief – 8:30 AM

  • Zero Range Open 7 AM-8:15 AM

  • Match Starts – 9 AM

    • No lunch provided – plenty of water available.

  • Awards – Following match (roughly 4 PM)

Two Local Hotels: Lyons Inn and Celebration Inn and Suites. Lyons has a free campground with hookups in town. PM https://www.facebook.com/rcscks for more information. The range is 9 miles north and 2 miles east of Lyons, KS. No dry camping is available on site.
