Trophies: 1-3 Overall, top Open, Lady, Young Gun, Base, Old Gun, Air Rifle. Additionally we will have trophies for each Classification – Expert, Sharpshooter, Marksman, Novice.

Prize Table: With donations becoming more and more difficult to receive from sponsors, we will do a random draw, if we receive prizes. 

Payments: Cost of the match will be $100.00.

Match Details:

Back for the second year! Welcome to the Smallbore Smoke Out, the West Coast’s premier rimfire NRL22X match! This will be a weekend full of shooting. We will have vendors, side stages and KYL races on Friday, NRL 22X match on Saturday, and a PRS rimfire match on Sunday (separate registration and match fee). 

Prepare to be challenged as we use the unparalleled terrain of our range to present you with an unforgettable match spanning 10 stages. Our match is set for rimfire enthusiasts with stages designed to optimized round counts, test shooters skills and even some high-angle challenges.

To add to the excitement, we have arranged substantial cash payouts for the top shooter in each squad, the top score for each stage and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (payout amount depends on total shooters registered). Payout Schedule is 1/3 of all match registration will be split between each stage winner, the top score in each squad and 1st place (50%), 2nd place (30%) and 3rd place (20%).

– 40 Shooters = $1,300.00 of total prize money ($50 per stage, $50 per squad winner, $600 divided up between 1,2,3)

– 60 Shooters = $2,000.00 of total prize money ($80 per stage. $80 per squad winner, $600 divided up between 1,2,3)

– 80 Shooters= $2,600.00 of total prize money ($100 per stage, $100 per squad winner, $800 divided up between 1,2,3)

-100 Shooters = $3,300.00 of total prize money ($100 per stage, $100 per squad winner, $1300 divided up between 1,2,3)

Furthermore, you can look forward to a prize table during our catered banquet that marks the culmination of the weekend. Join us for an epic experience where passion for rimfire precision shooting meets our one of a kind range in the rolling hills of Northern California.

Match will include as follows:
– 10 stages w/ targets from 25 to 275 yards
– Approx. 140 rounds needed for the COF
– Catered Banquet, H20, and snacks provided
– Match poster

– Top shooter from each squad gets a pay out
– Top score from each stage gets a payout
– A generous prize table (may be a random draw depending on sponsor donations)

– Trophies for the top shooters 1-3 and in each class (Open, Ladies, Young Guns etc) Registration is non-refundable, but is transferable. There will be movers, spinners and lots of tiny targets from 25-yards to 375+.

Directions to the Range. The address given is to the Quail Point Hunting Club clubhouse. You will go approximately 3/4 of a mile west of that on County Road 14. You will see numbered fields and our range is in field 19/20 on the right hand side of the road. Google maps has a tendency to have your turn the wrong way when you take I505 or I5. if you head east at any point your are going to wrong way. If the road turns to dirt or you are near walnut orchards you went the wrong way.

  • Check-in will be open on Friday between 2-5 for those that want to zero and get checked in early. We will have side stages, vendors  and a head to head bracketed KYL race to benefit the RO’s. We will have a non affiliated 22 match on Sunday for those that wish to spend the weekend shooting as well.
