What it is like to be a “team” shooter with Shane Douglas NRL22 Podcast Season 1 | Ep. 8

On today’s episode, Ruth speaks with Shane Douglas, a competitor and member of Team Bergara.

Shane Douglas is affectionately referred to as “The Big Guy with the Big Personality” who shoots competitively in all things precision rifle. He participates in many leagues competing in Rimfire, centerfire, and ELR disciplines. As one of the original Bergara Factory Team members his goal has been to shoot as many events possible and learn about the ever changing industry while assisting the folks shooting the products made by the companies he represents. From fixing rifle setups at matches, to helping new shooters make informed decisions about their equipment, Shane uses what he has learned along the way to support other shooters. He also relays feedback from shooters back to companies like Bergara to help keep pushing innovation within the sports we love.

The NRL22 Presented by Bushnell is a division of the National Rimfire League which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting. The NRL22 was created to provide a way for competitors who are looking to get into the sport of precision rifle the opportunity to do so with 22lr or air rifles without having to invest a lot of money in gear or travel. The NRL22 program is designed so that any facility with a 100 yard range can participate in local competitions to qualify for a National Championship.
