    Match Details: Friday noon to dark we will be open for sight in and side stages. Dry camping spots available and dinner Friday night. Saturday’s match will be filled with great fun and stages that will test you. Some stages will have a max round count of 14 so it is highly encouraged to have magazine extensions or you’ll be required to conduct magazine changes. This match will straight up test your shooting skills on wind calls, building a position and making good corrections as well as time management. Targets will be fair sized with big, small combinations making the difference of a good shooter and winner. There will be no KYL just TYL, and every stage will have a dedicated RO and target signs. Stages with lots of movement will have 1-2 targets stages with min movement might have up to 6 targets. Competitors can expect fun and challenging stages with 90% of the engagements being shot off of props. Props are permanent and prone to being more stable.     The NRL22X match you’ve all been waiting for. What could possibly be better than last year’s Spool-A-Palooza? THE PRINCESS PARTY BIRTHDAY BASH!

    Everyone loves a kiddo birthday party. Unicorns. Tiaras. Pink everything. Balloons. Cupcakes with sprinkles. Party hats. Non-copyright infringing cartoon characters. Glitter. So much glitter… And now - as a rifle match!

    10 Stages of Rimfire in the hills of Brown County, Indiana. A tasteful mix of woods stages and open field stages. 105 second par times and most stages being 10 rounds (max 14 rounds per stage). The range is conveniently located close to I-65 between Columbus and Nashville. Targets out to 275 yards.

    Camping? YES. This year we will again offer primitive camping on Friday and Saturday nights at the range. It is completely unpowered and unsupported. We cannot accommodate RVs. The driveway in is steep (much less steep than last year!) and your RV will not make it out. That said, there is an RV campground at the other end of Camp Moneto Road (https://www.awayadayrvcampground.com/booking), so RVers can stay very close. We will have a bonfire (weather permitting).

    Trophies? Of course. Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Overall finishers as well as Top Lady, Top Young Gun, Top Old Gun, Top Base, Top Semiauto & Top Air Rifle [Provided there are at least 3 shooters in the division registered 2 weeks prior to the match. If there are not 3, those trophies will go toward overall match finisher positions so we can go deeper than Top 3]

    We will have sight in paper targets at 50y. Then limited steel between 100-300y yards for dope verification. No match props or targets may be used during the sight in.

    NRL22X rules apply. Due to safety issues at other matches, all shooters need an empty chamber indicator that inserts into the chamber (i.e., a mag block is not sufficient). We will have extras if you need one.

    We are incredibly honored to be hosting this NRL22X match. As shooters ourselves, we are excited to bring you a fun and challenging match in the lakes area of Minnesota! This is the only fully female lead match in the country!

    Lunch, snacks, and bottled water will be provided the day of the match. Food will also be available for purchase during Friday check-in/zero range/side stages/tune-up from the Reloading Shack by JT and Danette Hall. Please reach out via phone or email (listed below) if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate them.

    Mulligans will be available for $20 each, limit one mulligan per shooter. Mulligans must be announced immediately upon shooter completion of the stage and the shooter will take their reshoot immediately following the next shooter. Side stages for prizes will be available on Friday for $10/try. Each try will earn you anywhere from 1-10 tickets entered into a drawing for the prizes available. A match tune-up will also be available Friday for $10/shooter. Shooters will be able to walk the course of fire, but rifles will not be allowed during the tune-up. The money made from side stages, the tune-up, and mulligans will go to supporting the match/ROs.

    Target distances will be between 25-350 yards.

    Prize table walking order will be a combination of place finished and random draws. Top 3 overall and class winners walk the table first, followed by alternation between a random draw RO, random draw shooter, and the next highest match placement. We would like our ROs to be adequately rewarded for their participation and we will have the top 3 ROs from the RO match walk the table with the other class winners. We cannot provide high quality matches without high quality ROs.

    Range Officer (RO) opportunity
    We feel strongly that a big key to a high-quality match is to have good ROs. Good ROs bring consistency to stages for a fair competition and help keep the match flowing smoothly. We are looking for willing ROs to participate. ROs will eat free Friday and Saturday, will walk the prize table with the rest of the shooters, and will receive appreciation and respect from the match directors and the shooters. ROs will also be given the opportunity to shoot the course of fire on Friday. As long as we have 15+ shooters in the match, we will submit the match scores for NRL22X points. This will give them the opportunity to shoot the match, as well as allow them to become accustomed with the stages. If you are new to precision rifle competitions, ROing this match will be an excellent opportunity to get experience shooting with help from match directors, as well as experience spotting bullet impacts through spotting scopes.     Rush Lake Range is located in New York Mills, MN. The Grandstay Hotel and Suites in Perham will have a block of 20 rooms for the match. Call them at 218-346-2033 for rates and reservations.     Are there Divisions?
    For match results, no. Welcome to The Thunderdome.
    For your NRL22X season points, yes. Sign up with the division you intend to shoot (semi, base, ladies, etc). Your team score will be applied to your selected division. For example, say you sign yourself up as base and your partner is ladies, and your team lands 3rd place with 85% of the winning team, you'd get 85 under base, and your partner would get 85 points under ladies for this NRL22X match in the season standing.

    Do we pick our partners or are we assigned partners? Do they need to be the same division?
    You pick your own partner. They do not need to be the same division as you since all teams will be on the same playing field.
    After you and your partner are signed up, you should be able to join them as a team.

    Will this match be cart friendly?
    Yes. Carts are allowed but not on the line.
