On today’s episode, Ruth speaks with Bevin and Jeramie Walker, AKA Mr. and Mrs. 22 Lima Romeo, about their competition experience, introducing their kids to the sport, their YouTube channel, and more!
Jeramie & Bevin Walker, aka Mr. and Mrs. 22 Lima Romeo, are an “All, or nothing” kind of family. They usually shoot as a squad with their 2 (soon to be 3) of 5 Young Guns. They are very active in the Rocky Mountain NRL22/NRL22X community and are always encouraging shooters to teach a young gun, de-Fudd a buddy, or bring new shooters to a match. Their home range is in ever windy Northern Colorado, where the wind can teach you that you don’t know how to read the wind. After introducing many to NRL22, they were inclined to empower the sport further by launching the YouTube channel: 22 Lima Romeo in March of 2021. The channel specializes in monthly NRL22 COF previews; sharing strategies, gear choices, stages breakdowns, and insight. Their goal is to expand the reach of NRL22, and provide shooters everywhere the confidence to succeed at their local monthly match.
The NRL22 Presented by Bushnell is a division of the National Rimfire League which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting. The NRL22 was created to provide a way for competitors who are looking to get into the sport of precision rifle the opportunity to do so with 22lr or air rifles without having to invest a lot of money in gear or travel. The NRL22 program is designed so that any facility with a 100 yard range can participate in local competitions to qualify for a National Championship.
